Temperature Sensor
- For our Hands-on Engineering course, I executed and assembled a temperature sensing prototype project, applying knowledges of the principles from electrical, mechanical, and computer engineering fields we adapted from the class.
- Developed a functional temperature sensor utilizing an Arduino Uno board to monitor and display temperature on an LCD screen.
- Utilized various components including an Arduino Uno board, 9V battery, USB cable, LCD screen, temperature sensor, LEDs, buzzer, and resistors.
- Ensured precise wiring and connections, following a specific wiring diagram, and soldering connections where necessary.
- Calculated and selected appropriate wire gauges to match the current requirements of the circuit, ensuring safety and reliability.
- Evaluated the prototype's performance, noting its comparability to standard thermometers while recognizing room for improvement.
